Having recently retired, and coming from the mainland, my initial contact with Cathy Possedi was through HGTV’s “Hawaii Life” television series (…though not filming due to COVID). Cathy was very helpful from day one. She's understanding and so willing to explain (and re-explain) everything since I was a first-time buyer. There were a few snafus along the way but Cathy was my fierce advocate, and therefore, I always ended up on top. She understands this market and even provided a book that she wrote that is specific to it. I probably read it twice! Additionally she has connections to reliable vendors that always provided excellent service. Overall, I love her energy and straightforwardness.
Cathy is your best ally when buying a home on Oahu! We have worked with very good realtors in the past, but she truly goes above and beyond. Not only does she know the island very well and is a great guide to the different areas, but she has what I like to call 'Cathy vision' which allows her to really see everything when walking through houses with you or via video call. Also, she is on top of everything and makes sure that absolutely nothing falls through the cracks through the entire process. Lastly, she doesn't pressure you at all! It is clear that she has her clients best interest, even if that means that things don't work out.
She truly is a pleasure to work with so if you are looking for a realtor definitely recommend Cathy!

Cathy is fantastic! She helped us buy our condo in 2015 and we knew we wouldn't want to work with anyone else when we were ready to sell in 2021. This was our first time selling a property so she guided us through the process and advised us with the renovations as well. She helped us price perfectly and sell our condo quickly, above asking price! We are so grateful for her professionalism and excellent communication. I would recommend Cathy to everyone I know looking to buy or sell. She also is just an amazing, warm and genuine person to talk to!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing of a realtor (and person) that Cathy is. She helped us sell our home in the middle of what was a very crazy time (COVID-19). She took our thoughts and concerns into account and kept us updated on everything throughout the entire selling process. It can be very overwhelming, but Cathy is very knowledgeable, professional, and motivated to ensure that everything is going according to the timeline.
